Travel Feelings: Exploring Places with a Preset Emotion?
Turkish traveler Melis Aygen likes to explore a new destination by predetermining an emotion. For example, she visits Santorini with the emotion of romanticism, by saying that it is the first emotion that the island invokes in her.
Is it possible? Should we pay visits using a set of emotions from a list? Is it a good idea?
Do you think it is a good idea or say, “Not my cup of tea...'”?
In our opinion, we can develop something interesting out of it as both approaches are greatly true and you might think that it entirely depends on the respective person, for sure. For example, you may be traveling for food, historical research, romance, or lazing on a beach.
Obviously romantic in all her videos, Melis also says in the video that she is extremely emotional, after leaving the donkey who carried her down to seaside from the beautiful alleys of the hilly Santorini and considering that the animals are being harmed.
When it comes to what we can develop something interesting out if it is this: We would not give up exploring places with the things that bring along their respective emotions. However, when we visit a place for the second time or third or so, we could use that technique. Or could we pick an emotion and let feelings storm into our minds and hearts. Choices seem to be many depending on our very own existence and intentions.
We learned something new and it could be a wonderful cognitive approach thanks to Aygen. We can even reexplore even our house, with the help of prepicked emotion.
