Exploration… Is it only an Adventure, Scientific, or Military thing?

Exploration… Is it only an Adventure, Scientific, or Military thing?

Exploration must be one of the superconcepts (if that concept of superconcept ever exists) or very important ones that one day come into our life and make us think about ourselves, which are of course many.

Why is exploring so important in our life?

If you one day come across a puppy or a kitten, and if it is not afraid of humans, hold it and raise it a little to a level of your chest. It is likely that the puppy or the kitten will not look at you directly but its whereabouts by turning its head here and there, because they are in the process of consciously exploring and discovering things.

Warning: if it is a too little baby one of about a few months, never touch it as it is extremely dangerous. When touched, its mother will stop taking care of it by stopping to clean it with her tongue ending up leaving the baby open to microbes and viruses that will endanger its life severely or make it blind. We saw many instances of it. In that case, just stay in the distance and watch how avidly they keep exploring things, usually by the help of their mothers.

You were the same but for some reasons, it may have disappeared from our lives and we may have ended up wrapped into troubles and stress of life or being a couch potato watching things aimlessly.

We all, including any baby being, start exploring our whereabouts soon after our birth as we need to do so in our journey of survival. Yes, survival is the thing we beings share, as science points, and it is probably carved into the DNA of all beings and it is best for us to explore the world surrounding us to stay alive, fulfill our needs, and continue our existence and that of our future generations. Sometimes, we people who could discover the same things share a common point and be a community or fellowship to stay stronger.

It seems many teachings recommend us to do something by consciously choosing it. Then, choosing to continue exploring lifetime may be a good approach in terms of one’s cognitive development and survival physically, mentally, and spiritually.

Keep exploring
